Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to request data deletion and what data will be removed.

Data We Store

ParentDaily stores the following types of data that can be deleted upon request:

Personal Information

  • Name and email address
  • Profile settings and preferences
  • Authentication credentials

Children's Information

  • Children's names
  • Children's ages and birth dates
  • Child-specific preferences

Activity Data

  • Daily check-in history
  • Parenting notes and journal entries
  • Activity completion records

Media & Moments

  • Photos saved in Moments
  • Captions and descriptions
  • Associated metadata

AI Conversations

  • Chat history with AI assistant
  • Problem-solving sessions
  • Context data used for personalization

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Delete Specific Data in the App

You can delete specific data types directly within the app:

  • Delete individual photos from Moments
  • Remove children's profiles in Settings
  • Clear check-in history

Option 2: Request Full Data Deletion via Email

To request complete deletion of all your data, send an email to:

support@parentdaily.app

Please include in your email:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Specific data you want deleted (or "all data")
  • Whether you want to keep your account active

Processing Timeline

  • 1Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days
  • 2Verification: We may contact you to verify your identity
  • 3Deletion: Your data will be deleted within 30 days of verification
  • 4Confirmation: We will notify you once deletion is complete

Data That May Be Retained

In some cases, we may be required to retain certain data:

  • Legal obligations: Transaction records for tax/legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention: Data necessary to prevent abuse
