Account Deletion Instructions
Overview
We respect your right to delete your account and all associated data. This page explains how to request account deletion and what happens when your account is deleted.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you request account deletion, the following actions will be taken:
- Account credentials will be permanently removed
- Personal information (name, email) will be deleted
- Children's information (names, ages) will be removed
- Check-in history and parenting notes will be erased
- Photos and moments saved in the app will be deleted
- AI conversation history will be permanently removed
- Subscription will be cancelled (no further charges)
- All preferences and settings will be reset
Deletion Timeline
- 1Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will be logged out
- 2Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers
- 3Backups: Data in backup systems will be purged within 90 days
Method 1: Delete Within the App
The easiest way to delete your account is through the app:
- 1Open the ParentDaily app
- 2Go to Profile tab
- 3Tap Settings (gear icon)
- 4Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- 5Confirm your decision
Method 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer email communication, you can request account deletion by contacting us:
Send an email to support@parentdaily.app with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your account
- Confirmation that you want to delete your account
We will process your request within 5 business days and send confirmation once completed.
Important Notes
- This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
- Certain data may be retained if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
